It seems that compared to many tumblrs I update rather infrequently.
I would apologize but I don’t honestly feel sorry. I’m not going to claim any sort of superiority but one of the reasons I update less frequently than others is that generally speaking my updates take some work.
I don’t proofread (should be obvious) but for a lot of posts I do have to have a subject in mind, mull it over for a while, and find the time and energy to post something I think is thoughtful.
If I had more followers I’d be more concerned about disappointing people, but as it is I hope what I do post is interesting enough to keep people reading. I’m not going to post a bunch of pictures or links unless I think they’re VERY interesting, otherwise I’m just going to let things go.
One recent development that has slowed me down has been a matter of personal health, nothing extravagant but I’ve been having some problems with my asthma that have kinda derailed things, a lot. Things seem to be on the upswing and hopefully I’ll be motivated to write about things besides half apologies and excuses about my health.
I probably could have used the fourth of July to write something but honestly, I felt terrible that day, and I was completely unmotivated.
I have an idea in mind for a next post and think I’ll get on to that, right now in fact.
